   I hadn’t been to Charming Nails for almost two years. I only get my nails done every few months as a treat, and my previous visits weren’t great so I stopped going. I decided to give it another try today as it was the only place open on a Sunday and unfortunately that was a mistake. The staff are friendly enough, but the quality of the acrylics with gel is extremely poor. If you’re not getting nail art, it feels like they don’t care about the finish at all. My nails are thick, unevenly polished and look bulky and clumsy. I don’t have the time now to get them removed and redone elsewhere, which is really disappointing. I’ve left a review before and their response was the usual “let us know before you leave”. Fair enough in theory, but when they give you barely a moment to actually look at your nails before ushering you out, it’s clear they don’t want to spend the time fixing anything. At the first sign of unhappiness with your nails, tell them straight away.

   Wouldn’t go anywhere else! I get biab on my natural nails (prone to breaking due to the length I keep them) and my last set lasted 5 weeks with absolutely no lifting, chips or breaks. The women in there are lovely❤️

   Honestly the best nail salon i have ever visited! Showed the lady exactly what I wanted, simple, elegant nails and she did just that if not better. My favourite nails yet! Will definitely be back for my Christmas nails. Thank you Charming Nails!

   I’m honestly so disappointed and upset with my experience at Charming Nails. I went in asking for cat eye nails for my birthday, but ended up with plain glittery nails instead. When I mentioned it, they tried to gaslight me into believing that’s what cat eye nails were — even though it clearly wasn’t. My sister got cats eye done and they turned out great so I’m not sure why mine are so bad. I really wanted to love this place because I try to support small, POC-owned businesses, but this was such a letdown. Luckily, I had my own nail stickers with me to help cover up how plain they looked, but I shouldn’t have had to do that. They are also lumpy underneath and very thick. Edit to add my sisters nails are bleeding. But as you can see in the picture hers are proper cat eye. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

   amazing experience!! i came in with really cheaply done nails but the lady i had (so sorry don’t know her name) took so much time and care to get them off and do maybe the best set of nails i’ve ever had. she was gentle and asked me every step of the way if i liked them and was happy to change anything if i wanted. i will definitely be coming back and i highly highly recommend :)

   My first time getting my nails done and I went for a set of acrylics for my prom which is tomorrow and so I was quite nervous but they didn’t disappoint! It was a really relaxed, friendly environment and my appointment was very fast and efficient. The outcome is gorgeous and exactly what I pictured, I would definitely recommend this company if you like in Leeds! :))

   I’ve been getting my nails done at Charming Nails for over 9 years. I first discovered them when I lived in North Leeds. Since then I moved to North Yorkshire but I still get my nails done there. They do such an incredible job each time, the staff are super friendly and the service is great value for money so the long drive and traffic to get across is completely worth it. Everyone always compliments my nails.
