This place used to be great. Location was ideal with free parking, staff pleasant, queues not bad and did a good job. Visited last week along with my daughter and we were disappointed, the process was rushed and no care taken. Finish was poor, two nails came off and few nails were not coated thoroughly. Need to find a new place.

5 star for the nails. Quick job. Friendly staff. But no eyelash facility so please Angela’s nails improve on that.

I have been going to Angela’s since 2019 every 4 weeks however today was my last ever visit. I realised the gentleman that usually does my nails has left and me so I put my trust and hope for one of the other men to do my nails. I have a very unusual nail shape (very very curved) and I informed him of this before starting. The acrylic he put on was at least 2cm thick. He said this was normal. I tried to explain I’ve been coming here for almost 5 years getting the same nails pretty much every time, this is not normal. The man or nail technician (if that’s what you’d call this mess!) absolutely ruined my natural nails after trying to “fix it” HE FILLIED THEM (natural nails) 4 TIMES WITH THE ELECTRICAL DRILL. I came in at 9 and left at 12pm with the most damaged and painful nails. You can imagine I was reduced to tears. So angry and frustrated that I had healthy nails when I walked in and I walked out with brittle, blanching really painful to touch nails.. He realised (after ruining my nails) that he can’t accommodate to my nail shape and to tell me “sorry I don’t know your nail shape” after he damaged it already. I was in tears out of frustration more than anything. I took myself to pink nails in Crossgates and explained everything to the manager (who also owns Angela’s nails) she was very understanding and reassured me someone will fix it without touching anymore of my natural nails. The lady who did my nails did a fantastic job and I feel like now I have acrylics on purely just to protect my nails from snapping. Manager was very apologetic and did these nails for free however the gentleman who effffed up my nails showed no remorse. Safe to safe I will NEVER said foot in Angela’s again.

Very upset, just paid £33 for my nails ruining! I had lovely long nails before the younger of the gents decided to butcher my hands and nails. I usually have builder gel, however he used acrylic without warning or asking. I had 1cm of thick acrylic stuck under my lovely long nails that caused pressure under my tips. My skin was all stuck to the acrylic and he cut my finger with the file. When I told him that they were not what I wanted and that they were uncomfortable (yes uncomfortable there was that much acrylic under the nail shaft) he had a strop with himself, slammed around, walk off and another gent had to come and correct his mess! I felt stupid and needless to say because of his anger intimadated. I am so upset they had to file all my nails down to the lowest point they could go and reapply the acrylic. I got to the shop at 0930am and left at 1200noon. I told them that I should not be charged and they ignored me and because I felt intimidated I just paid and told them I would wright this review. They said that was OK. There was nothing OK about all of this.. Painful, intimidating and upsetting experience that I paid for!

I asked for removal and new acrylic nails, what a disaster, they looked like I’d stuck them on myself, I went back and asked for a solution and was told I’d have to pay another 20 ponds, after spending 33 pounds this was not an option. What a disappointment, I shall certainly never go back again!

Always have gone here to have me nails done and take my own gel nail polish and has always paid £25 went in on me 4 weekly visit to be charged an extra £8 to have me nails painted asked why and to be told shellac my nail polish is gel what I've always used but the price list has not changed so they are charging what ever they think is right plus it was anew member of staff who stopped doing my nails so he could talk on the phone for 10-15 minutes. So for the way I was treated and charged I will be finding someone that treats you as a valued customer and not just a money ticket

Me and my friend were waiting there for 4 hours just to get our nails done, in the end we got them done but my friend was charged £28 for simple pink acrylics and i was charged £23 and mine have glitter on them- nails were rushed and i have a chip in my nail where he went too fast and chipped my nails and he did not paint them properly, there not straight and he left them to air dry instead of using the uv light and we both left and will never return. not worth it don’t waste your time and money on them

The staff are not particularly friendly. I asked for my nails to be quite short and he practically took them right down and argued that that was what I asked for when I said not as short as that! I also feel like they don't want custom and that it's too much bother to do their job. I usually tip but I didn't on this occasion.

Went for my holiday nails doing today and all was fine. The man who did my acrylics was rather rough and rude. He said my left hand was dry once sitting for 10 minutes under the dryer, but did not check my right. Unfortunately, my thumb nail has scuffed from top to bottom and I feel this is an extreme waste of £20.
