    When the door wouldn't open on our aged Siemens S14.38 washing machine, the YouTube help guides couldn't help. Despite a paucity of reviews, we decided to use the local firm General Domestic Appliances which could come 6 hours later, at an agreed time, on the same day for a callout charge of £40. Their technician turned up on time and quoted a total price of £135 including the new door handle from which the callout charge was deducted. We were told it would take 5 working days but 4 working days later the new door was ready and fitted. The service was very efficient but didn't take credit cards. I would use them again for any domestic appliances
