   Cafe had picked up but gone downhill again. No bacon at 2 30, this has happened on a few occasions. Cakes looked stale. Staff not interested. Too busy talking, offhand. Very few people in, no atmosphere. Not surprising

   Went yesterday to pick up family from a show. 350 people in auditorium yet the cafe closed dead on 4pm. I queued for a coffee at 15:50 at just before 4 still hadn’t finished serving the one customer that was being served., so I gave up not realising it would shut so promptly. Sorry not impressed

   We have visited the cafe now several times and each visit has always been to a good standard. The toilets are very clean and the theatre which is in the same building is superb which is ideal for booking some of the excellent shows that appear at the Floral Pavilion.

   Poorest Service ever , young Poorly trained staff , take your money then leave one slow female member to work her way through the coffee and tea making orders ! So slow !!!!! No regard for people who find it difficult to queue and stand !! ! Black coffee £2.50 and hit was unexpectedly topped up with boiling water ? Weak or and insipid purchase . More mature staff stood around and chatted while quiet built up ! On one of their busiest days this year! New Brighton pride ! No pride taken in cafe service ! Overpriced poor quality service . what a joke ! Who manages this place ?

   Extremely poor service, our order for 1 x cake, 1 x scone & pot of tea arrived in 3 stages. No apologies received & staff did not appear concerned. This was at 16.00 hours today so perhaps they were ready to go home! Not a good impression for visitors to New Brighton.

   Worst food ever! Bright orange fish fingers???? Dry scones, cheap jam, only the Roddas clotted cream was any good. Victoria sandwich cake was like a relic from it's time! Weak tea like maiden's water and what I would describe as a 'crapachino' . Basic food is pretty easy to get right. Staff nice enough, venue lovely with good view.

   I have had some bad foods. This is one of those. Expensive for a cafe and really poor execution. Chicken and avocado sandwich was awful, half baked bread with cold dry chicken and tough not fresh avocado. All in all avoid. Worst of all I got chips as a backup and ended up leaving these too as they were hard and undercooked.
