    Had an excellent experience. Customer service was on point, and Tom was exceptional throughout. I was a pretty particular customer while choosing a pair of trainers, but he remained patient, professional, and genuinely helpful in guiding me to the right purchase.

    Visited this, my nearest and most used store on Friday 14/11/25. And this restored my faith in the Denton, Manchester stores, customer care and service. The staff on this day have earned their branch a 5 star rating. This planned visit, was following a second visit and conversation a couple of days earlier, on 12/11/25, with Stevie Ann, who I’d shown an email to, from customer services, dated 10/11/25, in which they’d advised that an exchange could be done for my brand new pair of trainers, at the managers discretion, that were purchased for holiday, but 6 months previously, and only discovered to be a very large fit, whilst packing, for holiday on the 19/10/25 (this was the day I’d had the first contact with customer services, who advised to return to the store) this webchat had resulted in my first visit to the store on 6/11/25 to request an exchange for a smaller size 2. Unfortunately, on this day, I spoke with a dark haired lady, with glasses, who was not very helpful, telling me she was the assistant manager. I explained I’d been advised to return to the store, at which point she advised, there had been no email received from customer service to the store. I said, I hadn’t expected them to email the store, as they didn’t advise me they were going to. I showed her the email, with the conversation history, that advised me to go back to the store. She said it was a bot, and the adviser, would not have read the details. I explained, I’d had the webchat with an adviser, and they knew all the details. She then said it was outside the 28 days for a exchange, and that my receipt would no longer be on the system, as they are all wiped off after 6 months, and therefore my purchase could not be found. I asked as I only wanted an exchange for a size that fits, could this not be done manually. She said not, as this would make the stock out, due to a different size. I asked if the stock could be updated manually, and she said not. I asked if I could speak with the manager, she advised there’s no point, as he will tell me exactly the same she has. This experience resulted in my second contact with customer services, whilst still in store, where I requested that they escalate for me higher, which they kindly did, resulting in my second visit. On my second visit, 12/11/25, I initially asked Stevie Ann, who was stationed at the entrance, if I could speak with the manager, as advised by Brooke on customer services. Stevie Ann kindly spoke to Tom the manager, via radio, he was with a customer at the time, I said I was happy to wait, until he was free. Stevie Ann, offered to see if she could help, and it was then I showed her the email from customer services. I also showed her the image of the brand new trainers and receipt, sent to customer services. Stevie Ann, spoke with Tom again, advising that she would be able to resolve, then kindly offered to sort out the exchange for me, and to scan my receipt to see, if it was showing on the system, which would make it a straightforward exchange. My purchase was still on the system. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the trainers with me, and arranged to return, in a few days, when Stevie Ann was on shift. To summarise, the staff that were so helpful, professional and friendly on the morning of Friday 14/11/25, going the extra mile to help me find a correct size 3 trainer, were 3 lovely guys called Ronan, Chris and TJ. They with Stevie Ann, who then dealt with my exchange, have restored my faith in this store, and in turn this will result in the company retaining me as a customer. They all deserve recognition for being outstanding at their job, and hope they’ll receive this from the company, they’ve represented to such an exceptional standard.

    Nearly didn't go in after reading some of the bad reviews on here, but gave it a go. Wasn't expecting it to be good. Poped in on a Thursday lunchtime for some cheap black work trainers. Went straight upstairs and found a good range of cheap trainers. Had all the sizes right there for you to pick of the display and try on. In and out in 10 minutes. The one staff member I spoke to on the till was pleasent.

    The worst experience at this store. We use to come here regularly but not anymore. We got here 1 hour before closing and wanted to just get shoes and some trousers. There was NO ONE in shoes section asked a girl for help. She came over then vanished. Called another guy he was great. Bangali lad amazing service. Finalised 2 trousers 1 pair of shoes. They told me to go to counter to pay with card while I am walking to counter this staff member with glasses starts saying we are closed we are closed. We told her we just want to pay and this lady turns around and says STAFF IS ONLY PAID TILL 8.30 WHILE IS 8.32....I immediately put the things down left the store. What an absolute sham. No wonder people don't want to go to stores and spend money when we get this kind of Absolute Shaaet service.

    Went into store today to get my son football boots. The member of staff assisting was called Cameron and at one point had at least 6 or 7 people all trying to get correct sizes. Cameron was able to help every single person and at no point did I feel like I was left waiting, he remained polite and professional at all times. Spoken to store manager and found out he was new but had conducted himself like he had been there for years . This young man is a credit to the company. Well done Cameron.

    The staff are a wast of space, me and my brother have asked 3 different members of staff if we could have a shoe in size 9 or 10 and all 3 have said, "I'll send someone over" 15 minutes later we're still waiting. Such a joke

    SHOPPERS BEWARE OF THE PARKING SCAM!! Spent a day and might I add a small fortune Christmas shopping at Crown Point Denton. We spent a significant amount of money in this store on clothes for our children. Parked on the car park, finished the day with a meal on the retail park. Yesterday I received a parking notice, I went shopping their on 17th December, they processed the fine on 28th December, miraculously I didn’t receive the notice until January 10th to tell me that my fine would change from £60 to £100 if it wasn’t paid by 11th January, leaving me no time to appeal. Rang British Land who own the Crown Point only to be told that the parking had nothing to do with them, a blatant lie when the parking company clearly say they are issuing the fine on behalf of their customer. Paid the fine online to guess who? British Land, what an absolute scam. I will never spend another penny here on principle. I think that the shops operating on this retail park should make a stand against parking charges like this which will prevent customers returning and this is why my review is for Sports Direct and the other shops where I spent money on this day. The clothes and service I received in Sports Direct were great but I’ll never shop at this branch again due to this ridiculous system of charging customers who park and spend their money there.

    Tried to return an unwanted birthday present I was gifted, was told I could only get a credit note. Thing is I can’t think of a worse store to spend £79 quid in than this place. Their refund policy must be illegal. AVOID sports direct.. morals and ethics are in the bin.

    This store is huge, plenty of choice at decent prices, I just really dislike the Sports Direct returns policy, I'm sure it breaches consumer rights !! However, you can't complain about the value for money so I reluctantly shop here but only when I have to ! Plenty of free parking available.
