   Today “Employee name Kurt “was working there in store. Very kind and humble. I only went there to buy one shoes but ended up buying 3. I went to this place last time my experience was unbelievably terrible. The staff were very rude and unhelpful. Kurt was very kind and respectful. Manager needs to hire more people like him.    From arrival until purchase I found all the staff to be professional, helpful and cheerful. I struggle to get trainers as despite being 71 years of age I usually end up in the children's department. The young assistant was absolutely amazing and I left the shop with a great pair of trainers that were perfect and great value for money. Many thanks to all the staff from a very happy customer! Highly recommended x

   FYI I wish I could give no stars! I saw online that the closing time was 8pm, so I rushed out of work and had to take a £15 black cab to get there. I arrived at 7:45pm, and the staff told me they had closed at 7:30pm. That doesn’t make sense at all. If you close at 7:30pm, why isn't that updated on the website? She was literally standing by the shutters, which weren’t even closed yet. I have so many questions. If you're closing at 7:30pm, why are the shutters still up? Is it just so you don’t get caught closing early? She told me they close at 7:30pm to make sure they’re out by 8pm, but that explanation doesn’t add up. How can you run a business when your staff is bending the rules like this? I won’t be going back, and I definitely don’t recommend this Sports Direct. It's just taking up space in the shopping center when something more useful and better could be in its place.

   Exceptionally poorly organised. Women's children's and men's shoes all on the same shelf next to each other mixed up. Impossible to find something specific. Selection itself was also sub-par and I ended up leaving in disgust

   JOsh sports direct MGR at market ST has NO idea of respect or customer service and Cst rights. How on earth can he be a manager . I received disgusting treatment with him and had to go to another store to resolve the issue with no problem. I wish him karma for his disgusting disrespectful treatment.

   I bought a winter jacket for my sister which was too large for her, came back to the UK nearly 3 months later after our vacation without a purchase receipt, YASEN as a Supervisor was very helpful and exchanged that for us. Very satisfied with the service we received.

   Limited range of items were available. I roamed around - for a long time - to find a particular item. I couldn't even find anyone to ask to (to check if they had the item or not). The customer service was practically absent, but I saw one that had a walkie talkie but was on the phone (I didn't want to bother him). I think that they need to work on their uniforms - you can't differentiate if someone is a fellow customer or a shop assistant.
