   Been a regular customer here for a good while now, we come and get coffee and sometimes food a few times a week. The coffee is excellent but the service isn't the best if I'm honest. Once asked what you want to drink there's generally no further communication from the staff, especially the red haired woman. Came in today for coffee and it was very busy, ordered and sat down to wait. There were two other people behind me in the queue who I take were more regular than myself as the staff were very friendly and chatty with them and they both got their drinks made for them immediately even though I was ahead of them in the queue. I keep going back because the coffee really is excellent, but getting fed up of the lack of customer service.

   Me and my family have been coming here every weekend and at least one morning during the week for over two years and the staff are the same group of young girls and a chap however they rarely smile and have not one single occasion remembered us. we come because we like the walk to it together as a family and the children like the cakes but the atmosphere is non existent- the only thing that generates interest and breaks them out of their robotic state is when a new dog comes in which they stop to fuss over. I like dogs but they don’t pay the bills. I never write reviews but I feel cross that there are people looking for jobs yet these youngsters have no idea how to communicate effectively. Perhaps having some training or a manager present may stimulate some pride in their work as nowadays coming out to eat and drink is a treat so should be a better experience.

   Stumbled upon Host Coffee during a morning walk and appreciated its early 7:30am opening time. The café offers a small food menu and a selection of cakes. It was already busy, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the décor is simple. Coffee was well-made, though a bit pricey. By 8am, it had noticeably filled up—clearly a local favourite for early risers.

   A beautiful little cafe in the cute village of Oxton. They have such a lovely autumnal vibe and the staff are so friendly! They allow dogs into the cafe and accommodate the little floofs with water and treats. The food is amazing and the drinks are so good! I had the Spiced Chai Latte and the Sourdough with Banana, Crunchy Caramel Peanut Butter and Cocoa bits.

   First time in this beautiful coffee shop today. I live in the area and didn't realise this coffee shop was here built on the old bank land. I really enjoyed the coffee I had and the beautiful cake/ Danish type pastry which was delicious. Another bonus is that it is dog friendly so I will be here again soon with my furry friend. Definitely recommend Host coffee shop
