First time here and had my hair cut by Holly. She was so lovely and I loved how she really listened to what I asked for. Thank you so much. I will definitely come back to Holly when I need my hair cutting again.
Amie and the team are so welcoming and the salon is gorgeous. Amie always listens to exactly what I want and has worked with my hair to get it into good condition, I’ve struggled with some dryness and brassiness in the past but now my hair is thicker and shinier all thanks to Amie’s consistent work on it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hairdresser in Sheffield!
I had a balayage done with Ellie Hall and couldn’t recommend her enough!!!! My hair is naturally black and I’ve always wanted to go lighter, a lot of other salons could never really match what I wanted to go for but Ellie quite literally hit my reference photo perfectly!❤️ lovely person too and the salon is great x
I've been coming to the mill ever since I moved to Sheffield 3 years ago. Amy, my stylist, is fantastic. She is a wonderful colorist and always does her utmost to get the colour I want without damaging my hair. She's also excellent at cutting and styling. I often change my hair and ask for some alternative technically challenging styles and Amy is never phased by this and considers carefully the best way to get the effect I want while also ensuring my hair will be healthy. She's very knowledgeable about colour and products and how to use them effectively. Amy is also just generally lovely and great fun, so I always look forward to getting my hair done. More generally, the atmosphere of the shop is great and all of the staff are friendly and welcoming whilst also being professional. Each of the stylists and trainees have a great rapport with their clients. Id recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great place to get their hair done in Sheffield.
I have no idea what kind of magic Loren used on my wedding hair, but it looked stunning from the getting-ready shots to the very end of the night! She also did an amazing job for my Mum and all my bridesmaids; it was a pleasure to have her as part of our wedding day,.
Amie did my wedding party’s hair and she was amazing! Absolutely loved my hair, it was was exactly what I wanted and looked perfect all day. Amie also helped me so much on my wedding morning, there’s no way I would have gotten to the aisle on time without her! Really lovely lady who is very talented and instantly makes you feel at ease. Highly recommend.

I have been going to The Mill since it first opened and I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Catherine has been doing my hair for over 7 years now and I can’t rave about her enough (so much so that nearly all my friends get their hair done by her too now!!) I love making an afternoon of my appointments because it’s such a lovely place to be. All the stylists are so friendly, talented and really look after you when you’re there. I highly recommend ❤️
I love having my hair done at the Mill. Catherine has restored my faith in hairdressers after a very bad hair experience elsewhere. I also pretty much get free therapy sessions on every appointment, so value for money is 10/10. Amie, and everyone else at the salon, is so lovely and friendly and it is such a nice and welcoming environment. Good tea and snacks also provided. I cannot recommend the Mill and Catherine enough! (Murphy the dog can also be seen on occasion...6stars).
