   We're regulars here and it is usually faultless. The cakes, coffee and tea were always excellent and great value for money. After today's visit, however, I'll be taking a break because there has clearly been a change in the cream in the éclairs. We had to send one back as it tasted past its best and had to ask for another one. When this one arrived it was better and fresher but the filling seemed off, it was almost like custard from a bavarian slice rather than cream. I ordered chocolate cheesecake to take away as I had a pannini (which was excellent) but on getting home discovered that they'd given me the chocolate cake instead. Not a problem as I like chocolate cake. The first taste wasn't great and there was not much flavour. It qas really bland and the filling was like polyfilla. Previous to this wed bought the dubai chocolate which was expensive but very disappointing. Shame because previous to this everything was always great.

   Called at Marmalade to break our journey while travelling. Lovely sandwich and cakes. Enjoyed it so much on our outward journey, that we called again on our way back. Holywell is an ideal stopping place away from the main road, with plenty of parking at the nearby supermarket.

   Really lovely coffee shop, nice decor and ambience. Prices are very good as are portion sizes. The egg mayo was lovely. The chicken panini lacked a little seasoning but otherwise nice and the tea and coffee was spot on. The sweet treats look very nice.

   A gem of a coffee shop. The paninis were freshly made and very tasty, the portions of cake were large (so shared) and also very nice. A great selection too. Would definitely recommend.

   Lovely cafe, perfect for taking some coffee, tea and a cake. Sit outside and enjoy the sun or sit indoors and chat with the customers and staff. Great little independent buisness and essential to support.
