Gary does a great job on my hair and is a pleasure to chat to. Knocking down one star just because the salon can be very difficult to get hold of if you need to talk to someone, and the phone is rarely answered.

Had a really lovely first experience at laundry. Cut and colour with Gareth and couldn't recommend him more highly. Gareth is patient and meticulous and takes real pride in his work. Nothing about the experience felt rushed, he made me feel so listened to and took time throughout to talk me through decisions. You can tell this guy loves what he does, and I loved the end product! Will definitely be back :)

Had my hair cut by Owen. I went it not knowing what I want while having long curly hair. He helped me look through a variety of options and helped me choose. I’ve never been happier with my hair. Highly recommend!

Had a haircut by Gary- love it. He really listened to what I wanted and delivered. Haven’t been to the hairdressers for a good while and was nervous to go to a new one, but I’ll definitely be going back. Gary was really thorough and spent a long time checking everything was perfect. Couldn’t be happier!

Review of café at Laundry for hair. A little confusing as its a coffee bar in a hairdressers. A friend had recommended it that morning otherwise I would have walked past and gone to tamper next door. I was greeted and asked what I would like, but I hadn't seen the menu. You need to step further into the space to read the ment on the wall. So I felt a bit lost. I felt a bit rushed so i just ordered a "coffee" and then saw the tasty looking pastries in the display. I enjoyed the cheese, marmite, and burnt onion swirl. Next time I will know what to do, but for a first-time solo visit it was confusing. Outdoor seating in the courtyard.

Had an amazing haircut by Gary. Finally, found a hairdresser in Sheffield who feels confident working with shorter hair! Much faster than your average hair stylist too. The salon is lovely. Clean and relatively quiet even when it's busy. Prices are reasonable. Keep it up! The coffee shop attached to the salon is worth trying too. Nice coffee and cakes.

The best salon in Sheffield. I’ve moved to Leeds but travel back for my appointments with Gareth. The decor is really fun and relaxing, and the team is always super friendly. I’m thrilled with my hair every time and always look forward to going again.

Hands down the best hair salon in Sheffield. Super experienced, expert hairdressers. I came initially a few years ago after a botched haircut from another salon, then Mitch worked his magic and I have been coming back ever since. I have very thick medium length hair and have had various cool and flattering hairtcuts of different lengths over the years. Especially if you want something more modern but expertly done, a change, or just high quality - go there. Pleasant salon, pleasant people, worth it.

I've been going to laundry since it opened and I hope I will never have to go anywhere else! I'm always happy with my hair, I love everyone who I've had a haircut with there. It's a laid back kind of place, I feel uncomfortable in most hair dressers which have strip lighting, forced conversation and and highly preened staff. I also hate having to pick a hair style out of a magazine - which nobody at laundry has ever made me do. They usually have their own great ideas about how my hair should look. In my opinion having hair stylists who have their own creative point of view is priceless and rarely found in Sheffield. Good people and good hair dressers!

I had a haircut at Laundry two weeks ago. I only wanted to get rid of split ends and have just a simple one length haircut. The haircut itself was not the worst, but also not great. For the money I paid I was expecting a perfect cut where every hair is the same length and the bottom line looks very sharp and clean which would look my fine hair a bit thicker. Unfortunately, the hairdresser at Laundry did not achieve that look. He shampooed my hair without even telling me what products he was using. I don't know what brand the products were or for what type of hair they were. I could also smell cigarettes when the hairdresser was washing my hair. I guess he must have smoked just before I came. I was not offered anything to drink. My whole visit lasted 30 minutes and I paid £50. I am not from Sheffield, I need to travel around 40 minutes to get there. On the day of my haircut, I came there only to get a haircut. I had found Laundry on Instagram and I thought it was a bit expensive, but you usually need to pay a bit more for a good haircut at a nice place. Unfortunately, that's not the case at Laundry. I feel like you can pay £20-30 and have exactly the same (if not better) haircut. When you pay £50, you just expect more. I will not be coming back to Laundry and I can't recommend this place.
