This was my first appointment with Sophie. She put me at my ease straight away, gave me a super cut, and I'm looking forward to my next appointment
I’ve been visiting Sophie at T&G for over a year now since I moved to Sheffield and she is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. She really listens to what I want and is a truly skilled hairdresser who knows how to deal with my very thick and unruly hair. Plus she is an all round lovely person and I always look forward to seeing her. The T&G Salon itself is lovely, very clean, great (free) drinks and all staff are friendly and attentive. I always feel great when I leave the salon. Thank you
Left feeling a little disappointed, I have curly hair and I wanted a cut that helped with the styling. Joanne was a nice woman however she had no idea how to style curly hair (even though she said she did) she kept tugging and pulling at my hair and blowing it all over my face which did not help with the curls: I can style them better myself. I couldn’t leave the salon in the way she left my hair it was a scraggly mess! so I asked for a blow dry and she seemed to get annoyed that I didn’t like it? She’s cut my hair way too thin and put more layers in when I asked her not too. Will not be going again it will take me months now to regrow the layers I was growing out in the first place.

Joanne is the sweetest and best hairdresser In the world. She made me feel so comfortable and talked me through what she was doing with my hair and why. I have curly and had a horrible botched haircut which managed to fix!
I have thick curly hair and no one until I found Joanne at Sheffield knew how to cut it right. They would cut it straight along the bottom so I had it flat top and wide on the shoulders. Joanne knows exactly how to cut curly hair and always explains how she’s cutting it and why. Great place and very good for the price.
Customer service wasn’t great. I got a cut, blow dry and damage control treatment which cost under £70. The hair cut was ok but when she was blow drying and styling my hair I could feel my hair being pulled out. She was aware that the round brushes pulled hair and I even mentioned the brushes aren't great. She even brushed my hair with the round brush a couple of times knowing it tugged my hair. Also she managed to get hair all over my clothes. Cut was okay, service wasn’t great so won’t be going again. Didn’t see a difference with the treatment too.
