Had an amazing makeup lesson with Lois and it was super educational and really fun at the same time! She left me feeling incredibly confident in myself and I feel like I learnt so much. She was really funny and was just overall a great experience and I couldn't reccomend it enough!
I’m always nervous getting my hair cut and I just felt so calm here. Such a hardworking yet soothing environment. Lydia did a great job and was very considerate of my sunburnt neck! Also - very very reasonable pricing. Thank you - will defo be returning.

I had my long wavy hair cut into a new style today by Emma Lilly and I'm thrilled! Emma was super lovely, so easy to chat to and is a stellar stylist with lots of experience. The salon itself is bright and comfortable, relaxed and unpretentious, and the stylists clearly care about what they do. I had visited Hannah years ago in another salon for a haircut I loved and it's so good to see what she's created at The Nook. The location is very sweet too, tucked away and a little bit magical, which makes it feel extra special. If you're unsure at all about getting booked in, I recommend you go for it!
My second visit to The Nook and I had the wonderful Nicola cutting my hair for the first time. Nicola helped me understand how best to look after my hair after I left the salon. She checked in throughout the process to make sure I was happy with everything. I came away feeling very pampered so thank you Nicola! Overall I've had two positive experiences at The Nook, the salon atmosphere was calming and everyone was very friendly.
I went to The Nook for the first time today after my old salon closed and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with my haircut by Nicola. She is so knowledgeable and gave some great advice. This was my first visit to the Nook and the salon is fantastic. The atmosphere and styling is so relaxed and non salony! Nicola coloured and cut my hair for the first time and I couldn't have been more happy with the results. The Nook is a lovely environment to have your hair cut, very relaxing and laid back. I had my hair cut by Nicola and I cannot recommend her enough. She was brilliant and very professional! She really understood what I wanted and made sure I was happy with how she was styling it throughout. After speaking with Nicola I feel like I understand my hair better than I ever have done before! Great service!
