   So we actually booked Danny Richo in London. This was advertised as a Soho salon but actually turned out to be Bethnal Green. A container building. Our hair is ok. I've seen 5 people who I know really well today and no-one commented on it. It was a very hot day and you can imagine a container without fans was no fun, they also only rent a chair there so you are constantly playing musical chairs while they see other people. We arrived at 3pm. Danny saw me 1st at 315pm. It took him probably 5 minutes to paint on the colour. I then waited for it to take. A wash, v simple trim, wave in hair and gone. I wasn't with Danny for even a full hour and he charged me £450!!! I raised this saying you can't expect clients to pay top salon prices to be in a roasting hot container, given a glass of tap water and shuffled out of the way all the time. He said, albeit politely, his price was justified. I admit I disagree. He and his wife are nice people but London is full of talented hairdressers and I think we have to be mindful that we are not hoodwinked by social media. This service in London is definitely and sadly not worth it... what a huge anti climax....
