A lovely atmospheric salon and stylist did great styling at good price. Well worth it and I would recommend this salon.
I was there two days ago for a simple haircut, the stylist pulled my hair horribly, scratches my neck on several occasions hit my face with the brush, apart from that the cut was terribly, I was left with longer hairs and other shorter nothing as requested. I don’t recommend if it they can’t make such a simple cut i can’t imagine the rest other processes,
Has been described as the best of Sheffield from many many friends and people and went there for my girlfriend and the cut has been truly bad, a very "simple" cut didn't went well, also her neck has been scratched while cutting from the girl working there. Not going anymore in the future.
I highly recommend Salon Twenty Seven, The customer service is exceptional, Sam is incredibly talented and precise with his coloring. I am impressed with the product quality used. Sam meets my expectations every time.
Overall the salon is a nice environment. However, the colour I received was not what I discussed with the stylist, I had asked for a ashy blonde balayage and left with orange highlights. I did go back and express my disappointment to the stylist and they did offer to correct it. The correction was still not a balayage, I felt for the overall cost of the colour and cut was over priced for the results. I think the salon result really depends which stylist you book in with and I would recommend researching their work first.
Dan is a fantastic stylist, colourist and extensionist. He’s been doing my hair for years now and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. The salon is lovely and relaxing plus they do great coffees!

Iv recently started visiting this salon for my hair colour and cut .Each time Iv been I’m made to feel welcome and Sam is so friendly . The salon is spotlessly clean which I love and Iv have not been disappointed with my hair. Sam takes the time to listen and is very knowledgeable , giving advice and suggestions. Won’t go anywhere else now!
