   Very poor staff at the store. I first asked about personalisation on a shirt and he couldn't be less interested. Said that it can't be done. And the i asked when it'll be done tomorrow amd he said he cant say. Then, the girl was trying to get me to sign up for fraser plus and said its only 5 steps. It took 10 mins. And towards tge end it said the app needs tome. So a complete waste of time. Very poor staff.

   Unbelievable went in to buy coat for my husband waited at till 10 minutes still no staff husband went to find someone. Young girl came to counter never made eye contact very moody ask did we want a bag never looked at us put our items on desk never said thank you just left receipt on desk took off very bad customer service need retrainng probably never go in this store again

   Regrettably, I had a very unpleasant experience at this store (Riverside, Warrington) today. I went in with a friend to pick up a few items, and while shopping, I decided to grab a basket that was placed near the exit. As soon as I did, the alarm went off. I simply picked up the basket and continued shopping, but I couldn’t help noticing the manager or some guy with a handheld device watching me closely afterward. I understand that the store may have had issues with some customers in the past, but this experience felt like profiling. It left me extremely uncomfortable. I honestly wish I could return everything I bought and shop elsewhere - even if it costs a bit more. I don’t plan to visit this store or support this brand again.

   I was followed around the shop like I was some criminal. Then Despite paying and it being shouted over the radio (yes I heard that too) I'd paid they still had 2 members of staff ready to jump on me. Horrible experience and just uncalled for I get it people shoplift but it's not everyone Far to over the top. It wasn't a 1 off Iv only popped in to buy some socks followed again. Well no problem sports direct you profile your customers no problem you do that, but you just lost a customer for life. 1 won't make a difference but I hope other start to see and feel the same way about this eventually

   This review is for Carol. Manager in Sports Direct, Riverside Retail Park, Warrington. During my visit to the Warrington Riverside Sports Direct, I witnessed a manager named Carol speaking to staff in a way that came across very unprofessional. Many of the employees in this store are young, working part-time, and are only at the beginning of their working lives. They aren’t going to have the same long-term passion for the job that Carol has dedicated her life too but that doesn’t mean they should be spoken to with disrespect. At one point, I saw her raise her voice at a young member of staff in front of customers. This not only seemed embarrassing for them but also gave off the impression of putting them down in public. Conversations like that should be handled privately and respectfully, not out on the shop floor where customers can hear (as a qualified senior staff member she should know this). Staff deserve encouragement and fair treatment, not to be made to feel small in front of others. My advice to Carol is to talk in a better manner to the staff that are helping run the business with you and you may find they’d go a lot further for you and make your job easier. If you can’t do that then don’t take your stresses out on your hard working staff and change career.

   They have minimal stock of anything. We were looking for water shoes, this mix and match system is rubbish, they are all different prices and when you try to match they don't have them in the correct size. Asked about a snorkel 'child' size, what age is this for, was told don't know and nobody in store will know. Online no info on it. Delivery charges for cluck and collect are ridiculous at £4.99, nobody else charges this and most are minimal or free. So disappointed!

   Waited 20 minutes in a queue downstairs for a click & collect item only to be told I had to wait in the queue upstairs. Peak trading on a Sunday only 1 person on till, no effective signage at entrance. This company is amateur and not customer friendly. Why there is no other sports company to compete with this sham is beyond belief

   Absolute joke. Bought a pair of trainers from here against my better judgement which developed a hole after three weeks. Returned to store and surprise surprise, unwilling to refund and said that the fabric had been caught on something. Absolutely not the case and not sure exactly what qualifies the staff in store to make that judgement. No wonder people hate Sports Direct. Steer clear if you want any semblance of quality or customer service.

   A really lovely young lady served me today, she was so friendly, smiley and helpful. I was looking for ladies trainer's and nothing was too much trouble for her. I didn't catch her name but she was a pretty blonde and around 20 years old. A credit to the store.
