    What an amazing customer service from the young member of staff, this young gentleman deserves step up promotion. Bought laptop for my son and it was and easy transaction. Highly recommend for anyone to this store

    Would give less stars if possible. I went to Chadwell heath branch on 8th Dember 2025 to buy my Son a Chromebook for Christmas. Thought I'd go in person in good time and get on top of present buying. Went instore with love 2 shop gift cards. The Chromebook we wanted was out of stock and so a member of staff ordered it online for delivery to our address. This staff member was conplaining to me that she's on her own and recovering from a cold. Not my buissiness but I sympathise. She then transfers the gift cards into Currys ones to use online. She orders the Chromebook on her tablet...to the wrong door number, only checking the door number with me after having completed the purchase. She has to cancel the whole thing, taking her an hour on the phone to her staff customer services. I'm told the cost will be returned to the Currys gift cards that were used within hours/ a couple of days so that I can reorder myself. Fair enough, these things happen. My Son gets an email a few days later that the cards are being posted (new ones) with the amount on them that is being refunded. They have no correct address (door number) to send them to so I query how they intend to post to us with no correct door number. I message Currys this via messenger explaining the whole thing and they say they'll get back to me 48-72 hours later to confirm they are being reposted to correct address...I've heard nothing...we are on December 20th now. No present, no refund, no contact. Conpletely unacceptable. I went in store to save time and get the job done, I've ended up borrowing on credit elsewhere to not let my Son down on his present...its for college work and assists him with his Disabilities. I'd saved up for gift cards to avoid debt, currys have left me with less than I arrived in store with and debt. Absolute disgrace and getting nowhere getting this sorted.

    Appalling customer service Visited this Currys store twice and had the same experience both times. I was repeatedly sent from one staff member to another, with staff and even a manager shouting across the shop floor about who should deal with me. This was done openly in front of customers, with no apology for the inconvenience. When I finally made a purchase, the staff member showed no interest or basic courtesy. There was no “thank you” or acknowledgment, even after I thanked him myself. The whole experience felt unprofessional and dismissive. Basic customer service was completely lacking. It’s no surprise people choose to shop online instead. I won’t be returning.

    Great electrical goods in store. Can be long wait for staff to assist you. Most have no knowledge of their products except for one young girl Kat was very knowledgeable and very helpful and steered us the right direction. Amazing service from Kat she went out of her way to make sure we understood everything we need answered all our questions and gave us great advice. If you need to buy from Currys I suggest you look for Kat amazing service 10/10.

    Absolutely disgraceful, been trying to deal with a return and exchange for two months each time it goes through the come up with some of a lie to why there's an issue. After 8 hours spent on the phone over the period of the two months, I thought the issues finally resolved. I waiting all day for a delivery and collection and no turns up in the allocated time. I then message on their web chat they told me they still coming..... Of course nobody turns up So then I now call the phone service and I'm told apparently I wasn't, which is just another lie. Everytime I ask for a management call or a complaint department call me they tell me they put in a request I never get a call back. This is the reason why Currys stores are shutting down, unfortunately. Other companies in companies online there after service is horrendous. Other companies and companies that are online are just beating them in every area. I wouldn't be surprised if they all go out of business.

    NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL ABSOLUTE RUBBISH no help to choose No staff at till They don't respect hard working paying customers in store. The man on mobile phones is glued to his seat. One member if staff in a woolly hat pretending to be busy.

    Probably had the BEST customer service I have EVER had in my life the other day. Came in to buy a specific pair of headphones and was approached the minute I walked in. Gave the details of the model and was told to sit. I get paid with love2shop gift cards for work and they can be an absolute pain and headache when buying something but the lady who assisted me, Sara, was amazing! She worked with me through lots of cards (I had saved up - there was probably 15+ cards) with none of the rudeness I’ve previously experienced in other stores and just a lovely energy. Literally came in and came out so quickly and smoothly - definitely expected to handle some problems when I was going to this store but I’m so happy I did not have to deal with issues. Sara, on a personal note, thank you so much - best customer service experience I’ve had! xx

    Poor customer service. Never have I ever been to an appliance store where staff ignore customers this only applies to those on the appliance side. To add to this items listed as “in stock and available for pick up immediately” is “out of stock” because they can’t be bothered to get porters to check the store out back. I walked out of the store reserved online and picked up my order. Those in the TV section are very pushy they try to push you into buying an LG model of the same size. Electronics staff and checkout staff are the one redeeming feature. Electronics staff helped push me in the right direction for a better product for the same price - worth noting however they don’t keep IPads in stock as it is apparently a company policy. Sales staff allowed us to pay in cash in store and have it delivered as a work around.

    Son and I went in looking for a TV and to pick up a DualSense controller. After some time standing in the TV area with no staff nearby (those we could see where not doing much in particular), we went to the front and asked a lady for help. She said she would send someone over. After some time again waiting in the TV section, no-one came. My son politely said 'excuse me' to a member of staff who was walking in the general direction. The man did not stop walking or look at us, put his hand up as a 'shush' and carried on. Then on his return gave us a wide berth. At that point, I put back the controller, and left. Went online in the Curry’s car park and found Argos had a way better selection at the price point we were looking at. Ordered, picked it up from there same evening with very quick and easy service. So, actually it was a blessing in the end because we got a far superior TV than we would have got at Curry’s.. Very rude and generally depressing in there anyway, with dated layout. If you’ve been to the USA it’s like they’re modeling their look on Best Buy of about 10 years ago. Would not go again.
