Just moved to the area and popped in for a quick pint, great service and friendly environment so much so I ended up staying for a second pint
Have loved this pub since I was a young-un! I don't live in the area but always pop in when I get chance. Some great characters too!
White Lion always excells with the finest pint of Joseph Holts Bitter in Westhoughton & Bolton. Fantastic bar staff & Landford. Best Juke Box in Westhoughton.
Holts Bitter is always good from my point of view. Nice pub . Great people. Winner.
A brilliant traditional Holts pub untouched by time. Really friendly landlord and staff. The Bitter was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly and full of characters !!! Lots of small rooms and a good beer garden.

Good old school pub. As its a Holts pub there ale is decent to as well as the prices. Can get abit busy when the footies so if you go at this time expect to be standing.
Paid a fleeting visit yesterday when I noticed it was Holts. I wasn`t disappointed . A proper traditional pub, with seperate rooms serving very nice Bitter.
