   Have been in The Moorgate several times, we have found the staff friendly and it's a lovely pub with a nice atmosphere, they don't serve food but that isn't a problem for us. We've just been to a children's Halloween party that they arranged, with our grandchildren and it was great, they did a fabulous job with party, decorations, food and entertainment and all the children had a great time.

   Absolutely adore this pub and the people who run it! Back in the area after 18 years away. Have been welcomed in with open arms and taken into the fold! And what a cracking laugh, super friendly, can't do enough for you! Have the best nighs here. Can't recommend enough. Feel like I'm finally home :) Genuinely adds so much to the pleasure of being back where I belong.

   Love love love Chelsea the landlady so down to earth and approachable , I think one of the nicest ladies I’ve had the pleasure to now call my friend . Friendly local community atmosphere where everyone knows each other and keeps an eye out for the older clientele when needed . So lovely to have a local pub that’s sticking with older traditions and comfort x

   Friendly and welcoming environment, with reasonably priced drinks. Child friendly with a spacious beer garden for them to play. Staff are polite, friendly and chatty. Will definitely be visiting again. Big carpark so parking is never an issue! Thank you.

   Visited at lunch time and played pool. Landlady informed us of the real fire being situated in the middle of the room once over and was very welcoming to us both. Only a quick stop but would like to visit when more locals are there.
