   Visited when travelling to watch football at Rylands. This pub is a proper old style pub that has retained so many original features. The interior was clean and the staff were chatty and helpful. The bar is well stocked with both draught and bottled drinks, and kids are also welcome. It was also good to see that they have many evening entertainments advertised for both kids and adults.

   Great prices, lovely staff, quiet corners to sit in if you want, or a more lively main bar. Small pizza menu and they are delicious and freshly made. Games room at the back.

   Fantastic night. Staff and new landlord Mike very welcoming and a good laugh. Great atmosphere. So much better now it has been cleaned up and taken over. Really nice pint. Great music.

   Nice pub , friendly bar tender just don't know how it's making enough money to survive and stay open . It needs to do food maybe sky sports and entertainment to draw people in . A refurbish wouldn't go amis too but like a lot of pubs it's all about money . Such a shame pubs are going down the pan it would be awful to see this place close so please support it pop in for a drink .

   Joke, worst 'pub' ive ever been in? Don't know but walked in 8.30 on a Tuesday night to see just 2 girls dancing/laughing/joking. Now i can't be 100% sure one was staff but im pretty sure one was. Anyway no one behind bar, no sign of service, certainly no one else in besides 2 girls dancing to "save tonight" by Eagle Eye Cherry. Waited to no avail, felt unwanted. Walked out. Good Luck
