   Rooms are absolutely fine, not luxurious but clean and functional. Service is outstanding, Chloe was amazing yesterday, such a lovely lady, all staff work hard. Nits Thai is a great addition and her food was delicious.

   I booked a room at the lord Rodney this weekend I payed it on booking.com an entered my card.details an come up confirmed. I gor the keys within 40 mins the owner was banging on the door with no explanation I said hello he said let me in or ill break the door down. On entering the room I asked what was the problem he said payment had not gone through which I have proof to him it arnt through he then demanded another payment. I payed again an then decided to leave. I have drank in the pub before an had no issues but this was 1000% outdoor order be careful people before deciding to book s room still this pub

   For a good honest stay in a location near town that's great value for money look no further that The Rodney. Whether it be just a nice clean room,food, or drink the Rodney has it all. Sarah cleans the rooms impeccably and all staff will go out of their way to help. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

   The worse experience in my life : unclean place ( no soap no towels no facilities) , I choose it cuz very close to me . Tv with no remote keep saying will change it and customer snipp the remote . Last week I came to the room I found another tv which second hand I went to lady to told her it is not same tv and it is faulty and she keeps saying it is same tv then she say she will ask her colleague to shake it 2 hours later came and say they found the remote : she tried it does not work . She promise me she will send some one but no one come ; the following day I spoke with them they say they will fix it in afternoon but nothing was happened. I told her I want to complain she said even if u complain nothing will happen and the owner is in in Thailand . The following week I already booked another hotel but my colleague he thought I want to book the same hotel they told him I break the remote and I keep breaking staff in the room . I can’t believe they are unprofessional and laier it is shame for 2 old ladies to keep lie instead of improving their service and apologies for their mistake they say lie . All of them unprofessional and rough apart from 2 young ladies they try to help but all the time saying sorry for missing towel and basic requirements on the room . With no doubt I will not recommend this horrible place to any one . I can’t believe this can happen now days . All of them need extensive training. Very shame

   Someone said this was the 'most amazingly cheap pub in the world'. Wrong! £18.43 for 4 pints (cider,larger) versus 3 G&Ts and one Guiness for £14 at the 3 pigeons (pigeon, pigeon, pigeon). Sorry Rodney. Still a decent pub. X
