“This place is wonderful! Great price for the stay, well worth it. The included breakfast was phenomenal. The grounds are breathtaking. The gym and leisure club (pool, steam room) were very nice. The sauna needs (technical) work, because it wasn’t really heating well. Did not have a chance to place golf, but it looked to be in pristine condition, and challenging. Rooms are clean and very well kept. The towels were plush, pillows and beds very comfortable.”

“It is probably the best eating pub that I know. Easily accesable. Not hard to park. Entrance for all people. Service very good, but most days, reserve a table, especially Sunday. Great atmosphere inside and outside. Food is brilliant and there is plenty. Prices are very competitive.”

“Stayed overnight whilst in the area for a friend’s birthday party. Lovely, clean room with spacious bathroom - shower looked like it had been installed days ago. The best breakfast I’ve had for a long time - freshly cooked eggs royal. Really extensive breakfast menu and very reasonably priced. All cooked to order. Beautiful presentation. Delightful staff.”

“We needed somewhere close to the waterways museum and this was the perfect spot. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were great, happy, smiling nothing too much trouble and the meal we had was excellent. Our room on the 3rd floor gave us great views over the canals and museum. I would highly recommend. The only potential problem is what appears to be limited parking, although there was a wedding on when we were there which may have been the cause of the problem.”

“Another fabulous stay! Stagecoach 2 was spotless and the beds were super comfortable. The showers/ toilets always gleaming. The hot tub was lovely as always. The dog also loved his stay ❤️”

“Kerry and Zach gave excellent customer service and went above and beyond. I happened to mention I’d be checking out very early the following morning. Kerry and Zach organised a small breakfast bag for me when they didn’t have to. They also switched on the coffee machine for a takeaway coffee. A lovely gesture. “We stopped overnight to break up a long journey. It was a bargain for a huge family room. The swimming pool was great for a little one and the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were all working well. Food was great and the chef freshly prepared our breakfasts as they were a little light on guests that morning. The team was very pleasant and friendly.”

Holly at reception was incredibly kind and understanding — she helped us change the dates of our stay due to illness, which we really appreciated. Everyone we met was super friendly and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food deals were fantastic, especially with the app discounts — excellent value for money and great quality. Breakfast was brilliant too — plenty of choice, fresh, and tasty with something for everyone. Overall, a really lovely experience with great service and great people. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Had a lovely time at the hotel and the staff are so lovely and friendly, especially the breakfast staff that were there this morning. I visited the spa during my stay and had a back massage from therapist Michelle and it was absolutely incredible. The best massage I have ever had! I think her hands must be magic and she was absolutely lovely as well. I was so relaxed afterwards. It would be worth coming back just to have that massage again. Will definitely stay again…it’s a charming place.”

“Perfect location just off the m62. The main reception area is great and the main bar room superb. Lots of different products on draft and the seating area is good. Really welcoming staff and a perfect place to come for a short or long stay.”

They all get on so well which shows how well acclimatised they are to each other before they stay and it’s so lovely watching them all play and walk together.
