   Had such a great time at Hungry Horse — the food came out fresh, hot and really tasty. Ella and Olivia looked after us and were both so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to see how we were getting on, which was such a nice touch. The service really made the experience, so big thank you to them both! Definitely coming back again soon

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I popped into the pub the other evening with a couple of friends, and I just have to say how lovely Ella and Olivia were behind the bar. They were both so friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming — nothing was too much trouble for them. Even though the place was quite busy, they served everyone with a smile and kept the atmosphere upbeat and relaxed. It’s so nice these days to see young people taking real pride in their work and making customers feel valued. The drinks were perfect, and they even remembered our order when we went back up later, which was such a nice touch! A real credit to the place — we’ll definitely be there again

   Kirsten and her team work tirelessly to create a perfect atmosphere and great experience whenever we turn up. I have stayed at the hotel many a time and Kirsten is always happy to accommodate. Her and the team always have smiles on their faces and knowledgeable about the business as well as offering the specials and even showing the value for money options. I highly recommend this establishment for both budget and customer service. Greene King is lucky to have this team.

   Had an amazing time at the Oaklands this evening catching up with family members. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and polite.    I have been to the Oaklands Hotel a few times now for family gatherings and with the wife. I always enjoy the food and find it quite a relaxed environment. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We will definitely be dining here again. Keep up the good work.

   Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a meal for 13 was served quickly, including starters, mains and desserts so that we could all eat together. Only slight problem was that the restaurant didn't seem to have sufficient supplies coming with each delivery to maintain the complete menu which made our ordering slower because we had to find alternatives to our chosen dishes and to run out of milk for coffee at just after 7 on a Sunday?

   Decided on a day trip to Chester, came across this place. (Hungry Horse) Just lovely!! Very chilled, showing World Cup, very clean, food was great and staff friendly! Definitely will return….got tucked into food but forgot to take a photo!

   Had a good two course meal as usual. Service via the app was good. It's invaluable if you need drinks during your meal. Table service was excellent as always and staff do ask for feedback. I will continue to recommend this place.
