   Great little local brewery/bar, outside seating opposite the park. Heater for the cold evenings. Always something on and the staff are great. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

   We had a lovely evening at the Taphouse in Culcheth with friends. The place was relaxing with a vibrant, friendly atmosphere. One of the highlights for me was the excellent selection of craft beers, available both in pints and schooners, which let us sample a variety of different brews. We definitely enjoyed working our way through a few of them! Even though it was busy, the whole place was well laid out and comfortable. The heated outdoor seating area was a fantastic touch, with blankets and cushions provided, and the staff even dried off the seats for us when we sat down. There’s a lovely awning as well, so you can enjoy being outside in comfort. All in all, it was a really great night, and I’d definitely recommend the Taphouse to anyone looking for a top notch place to meet and unwind.

   So we arrived at the taphouse in Culcheth to be told it was a private party. No advertising, very rude and dismissed from the premises. I’ve watched this place go downhill for the last 12 months. An empty fridge and beers that are substandard. Even grolch on tap. I am passionate about craft beer. Unfortunately, you don’t have any. Let’s have a bar with a vast selection of the finest local brewers that we have on our doorstep. I like many thought you were closing. I suppose my opinion came from the empty fridge, different person behind the bar on every visit and no one had any knowledge about beer. Huge fail. Shame considering I love my beer and my community Please try harder and employ people who know beer.
