Fantastic pub. Entertainment regularly on at the weekends from live bands to karaoke and themed nights. From pina colada to wild west themes with interactive activities from live Djs to rides and pool parties and 90's nights, accoustic events. Pool table and sports available with boxing and football. Good choice of draught beer and cider, spirits and bottled, shots offers, cocktails, including wine and prosecco. Very clean and well maintained bar and toilets. Good local community spirit and the landlady Claire works hard to put different events on that make all feel welcome including families. Good sized beer garden too with parking at the side. Location in the heart of Castle with good access to town and local shops, take aways etc. Highly recommend ♥️

Oh my word what a pub! Mental! Never had a pint taste so good. Went down smoother than Barry White necking cream in a jazz bar with Hugh Hefner. Would recommend

It’s great to have food back here at a reasonable price. We can recommend the Masala chicken burger and the panini. Looking forward to trying the Sunday roast soon.

If you’re anywhere close by it’s worth a quick stop to checkout. This was the first Iron structure every built anywhere in the world & for that fact alone is worth a stop. Having said that, it’s a small bridge & nothing else. We stopped by and had lunch across from it.

Our local watering hole! Been a few times with my partner and our son. The roast dinners are fabulous and you won't find better salt and pepper wings anywhere! Every single member of staff is so friendly and talkative with their customers and I think they have very high standard for customer service and satisfaction! Not one complaint about the place :) also, the resident pupper is gorgeous!

The answer was no, before you'd asked the question. Covid procedures over-zealous and done with excessive relish. Go somewhere else
