   Wonderful pub with a great atmosphere! The prices are VERY reasonable and it's always busy but not so busy that you struggle getting a drink or a place to sit. The people there are very friendly and welcoming as are the owners who are exceptional and often organise entertainment and other fun events. Highly recommended.

   Travelled by foot from Winsford. Taking an autistic adult on an outing only to find it closed when it is meant to be open. This was mid afternoon. Google has it listed as open from midday. Sat outside the church instead. Disappointed and won't bother again. When I rang to enquire, the phone was answered then hung up on me. A long walk for nothing.

   Recently reopened friendly local in a pleasant village. Range of real ales at very reasonable prices. Excellent value Sunday roast at 2 for £10, all freshly cooked. It was busy when we visited and they had no desserts, but this place deserves to succeed. Dog friendly. Family friendly.
