I paid £45 for a hotel room with shared bathroom. I think this represents great value when you need somewhere to get your head down for one night. If looking for more than one night i might look at other options. The place is clean but tired and does have a bit of a musty smell to it. Note that toiletries are not provided for the shower. Walking distance from centre of town. Good amount of parking. Massive beer garden overlooking the river.

Booked a room here for a colleague. Lovely view from the room. Just value for money.

I stayed here 4 years ago and it was acceptable for the money. This stay I found the rooms and facilities dirty and worn out. Mattresses was awful and could feel every spring! Bathroom dirty, shower just about worked. Kitchen was dirty and only a tiny fridge available. I had enough after 2 of my 3 nights booked that I booked a different hotel for the last night.

99 Pound it was even that Good. black mould in the bathroom. The smell of damp. Beds were squeaking. Looks Like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Dust on Lamp shades. The walls were so hollow. You could Here. people talking and the TV. Black Mould and rotting wood near the windows. To be honest, I wouldn't stay here again. And you're telling me this is a 4 star. It's more like a one star. A real ale local pub. Two cask ales on offer, one below 4.0Abv. I don't think this inn sells cooked food. I didn't enquire.

Local beer ok but a bit too light...to try to convert lager drinkers to beer !!! No red wine ...no comment!!!!

A traditional bar. Visited during the Middlewich Festival therefore they had a marquee in the rear garden. This was my 3rd Festival hope to return. Recommend
