Had breakfast here a couple weeks ago. Food was good value for money, came quickly and staff were friendly. Not a negative atmosphere, was just a little on the quiet side. Only downside to the food, we asked for no mushrooms on both breakfasts but they still came with them on. Not a major issue for us, just annoying as our request was missed.
It is a big spacious well lit and open pub, on the main street warm days the windows open up. The staff are mostly friendly and keen to help. Very good value for money breakfast’s that aren’t fancy but arrive quickly and are good, tasty and decent amount. The only minor criticism is that the food is warm rather than hot but it’s a big place with lots of customers and ,so far, it has always been warm enough to not send back! Recommend and have been and will go back.
We stopped here on a journey down the M6 instead of using the motorway service area. It's a massive pub that has the normal great Wetherspoons menu with something for everyone. The pub was clean and tidy, and food came quickly, especially when ordering on the app. Everyth was hot and well cooked.
This is my local spoons and I just went in as the Guinness was on offer.Extremely busy as it was Friday evening but the staff was very busy so it took a while to get served,but it eased after the initial rush but a lot of the tables still had empty glasses on them even though there was relatively few people waiting to get served
We only go here around breakfast time for coffee and breakfast and I must say the food is always great and it's still decent value for money despite the price increases
Went for the beer and burger this afternoon, still affordable, still good quality. Good service, clean. Remember this being Kwik-Save in the 90s, so glad it was made into our Tom and Jerry's.
Lovely friendly helpful staff, a pleasant warm atmosphere. Good beer and great food ( today's special fish n Chips was a delicious bargain! ) and so clean ! Well done Spoons!
A quick drink in this large Wetherspoons. Quick service reasonable prices and dressed up for the jubilee
