Just left the Featherstone store, customer service absolutely awful,2 members of staff taking about another colleague totally ignoring me at the till, lady serving me didn't speak look at me just carried on with the conversation!!!! Think she only noticed me when I snatched my receipt out of her hand
Call into Featherstone branch over the last couple of weeks and l must say that the staff have been fantastic only too happy to help a pleasure to chat with a credit to the team there
Walked in store and was approached by 2 members of staff saying that I have been seen on cctv putting something in my pocket so I emptied my pockets and told them I had a unlit cigarette in my hand which I put in my pocket when entering the store. Which they accepted and I proceeded to pay for the goods I had. I feel that I was a victim of discrimination due to my appearance has I was in my work clothes also these assistents were not security or S. I. A trained or cctv operators they were shop assistants it was very embarrassing to say the least.
Store is good and well stocked. Most of the staff are fine but I've been served by 'lucy' numerous times and she can be incredibly rude. If there's another till available I'll go to that, even if it means queuing a bit longer. I understand we all have off days but as its happened multiple times perhaps she could do with a refresher in customer service skills.
Shopped here many times. Great value and choice . Everything from dog food to garden furniture. Store always clean and staff helpful and friendly.
Travelled from Wakefield as store there didn't have what I wanted. Only problem, couldn't check online if Featherstone branch had item in stovk, otherwise great stores
The Store manager discriminated against an employee with a disability and wouldn't allow an holiday requests put in, to the point of not being able to attend work as the manager effect the employees mental health, HR was informed but brushes it under the carpet so did the area manager the employee was dismissed for attending work, so let's think how that effected the mental well being of the employee and how little and useless the employee felt, it was very bad to point the employee struggled with day to day tasks. Think before you spend your money here this company do not treat people equal
A great place to shop.find things in there that i cant get anywhere else. Good prices. Friendly staff. Whats not to like. Featherstone branch.
Not happy with the featherstone store as I have a service dog and this women that works there shouted and the top of her voice dogs aren't allowed in here told her service dog she said sorry but I still felt embarrassed and shown up instead of shouting full length of shop come up to people and ask about the dog dont think I will be going in there again in a rush
Not too busy. Customers still following the Co-vjd rules and the majority still wearing face masks/coverings. Great variety of goods on sale. Helpful staff when help needed to locate what I intended to buy and eventually did. Well done all !!
