   The Salthouse is a fabulous friendly bar with a great atmosphere whether it's busy with live music or a quiet evening. Always an excellent choice of beers. Great wine choice and a decent selection of shorts. The staff are knowledgeable and cheerful and very friendly which helps generate the relaxed atmos. Great music at weekends too, the best place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

   Met with some friends there yesterday for drinks, the staff were lovely and attentive as usual. Even when a drink was accidentally spilled the staff literally swooped in to the rescue! We love the vibe in there and we are happy it’s one of our locals because it’s always nice to visit.
