   I have known Yates concrete products for years and installed many of there concrete products ( they look well made), the Reality is the concrete products have weak concrete and poorly made with cost cutting in mind even though YCP are the one of the most expensive. The issue is they don’t use reinforcing bar spacers to keep the metal bars where they need to be, this is dangerous in an 8ft fence post causing the post to be very weak and deteriorate quickly, see picture. I have confronted YCP about this issue and the response was “we are not going back to using £1 spacers”. I do not use YCP any more.
