   Took my daughter here for birthday brunch as been before and was lovely! In my opinion, this has gone seriously downhill for the reasons below: 1) Ordered and took 55 minutes for food despite there only being 1 other food order. 2) My order was wrong served while toast when asked for brown 3) No toilet roll in ladies toilet and the bin smell was foul, dirty nappies and was over half full at mid day so clearly hadn’t been emptied. 4) staff are young, and don’t seem experienced in customer care for example “sorry for the delay” 5) general cleanliness could be much better!

   We came up North to visit family, we dropped in for an early evening drink at the Copper Tap and ended up ordering the tapas food. We went a bit over board with the selection but we were all impressed with the quality size and taste. The staff were really accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Will definitely be coming back.

   Gorgeous little place on Orrell high street, perfect for drinks, breakfast, lunch or dinner. They even do live music! We came the other week for breakfast, and were blown away by the quality of the food for such a little place. Plenty of choice for vegetarians and friendly staff. With it being a weekend, there was a bit of a wait on food but we weren’t in a rush. I’d recommend booking a table - we ended up outside in a heated booth as we just walked in, which in the rain wouldn’t have been ideal. Luckily, the weather was on our side. ☀️ Thank you x

   I celebrated my Baby shower here with family and friends. It was absolutely perfect. From when I first got in touch with the owner Liz I received excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. She was happy to cater for a selection of dietary requirements too which was wonderful. On the day, all of the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the day ran smoothly. The food was delicious and all of my guests where really happy. If you are thinking of hosting an event here or just visiting for a drink and a bite to eat. I highly recommend it. Thank you to all of you lovely people at the Copper Tap!
