TL;DR : Mediocre food. Not very warm or tasty. One plate was filthy on the bottom. Extremely slow service and our group didn’t get to eat at the same time. We were there for 2 hours in total just for a meal, no starters or puddings. —————————————————————————— Visited last week as a group of 18. Two pre-bookings were made (group of 14 & group of 7 arriving at the same time), totalling 21 people. They knew we were coming. Pub wasn’t busy on our arrival and we were immediately seated. First meal took 45-60 minutes to come. Food was mediocre. Not the warmest and not the tastiest. One of the plates was filthy on the bottom. Pot luck if you got chips or fries. We all ate separately because the meals came out two at a time over the course of half an hour, if not longer. First person had finished eating long before the last person got their food. We visited to this pub to enjoy a meal together before Christmas. Instead, we were sat around bored and didn’t even get to eat together. We were there for 2 hours; that is far too long. We witnessed another group complaining but we had to leave as we were already significantly behind schedule. We eat out often (usually in groups of 6) but will not be coming here again and we will not recommend this place to friends or family.

Had a great meal at eight towers . The food and service were excellent. I had the rump steak with chips, which was cooked perfectly and very enjoyable. A special mention to Leanne and Riley for their friendly and attentive service – they really made the experience even better. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Great quality food- really enjoyed the burgers and the steak was great for the price- better than expected. Kids enjoyed their food, usually really picky, but enjoyed it, which was a god send. Team were really helpful. Great quality for the money.

Worst lunch ever. We had two steaks, supposedly med rare. One more well done, one couldnt get the knife through it. I had chicken and ribs platter. Chicken dry and overcooked, ribs came out later but very cold. The reaction from waiter was not particularly bothered. I complained on the way out and was offered a round of drinks but my wife and daughter had already walked out in disgust. My advice is do not bother with this place

Asked for medium rare steak and got well done, couldn’t even bite into it. My mum also got the same and asked for medium rare and hers was well under cooked. My dad got ribs which were stone cold seems like they haven’t even been cooked! Need a new chef asap. Server didn’t know what he was doing, when we complained he just stood there looking confused. Absolutely fuming

The food was good, the delivery was very quick, the server was very good and caring. The only small complaint I would have is that when I tried to order, two people came to the bar after me and were served before me, then a bar person walked towards me, saw me waiting but asked two other people did they want serving before serving me. That made me think that regulars took priority over anyone else.

Just called in for a Meal, The place was quite busy but we only waited 20 minutes for the meal to arrive, it was cooked as requested and I would definitely recommend the Eight Towers to anyone and will come back again,

I would 100% recommend, food is lovely, staff are friendly and do amazing with children, anything you need they will try to accommodate to the best of their abilities, I was there with my family over Christmas and we were late but r table was still available and they even added more seats for members that weren’t arranged to be coming.

We booked a party for my nephews birthday there was 26 of us all together in the conservatory. We all each ordered with our individual table numbers. The food when brought out was not to the specific table it was just who ordered this item it was chaos felt sorry for the serving staff they where really struggling. Then when my meal arrived I ordered the extra large roast beef dinner the girl lifted the plate over my head and spilt gravy all over my shoulder. The waitress was really apologetic I understood mistakes happen. But the meal it itself was disgusting it was cold and the beef was like leather really tough would not recommend.

Not a typical country pub with roses around the door but it belies it's appearance. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, accommodating and efficient. The food is excellent and so is the service. I recommend anybody who hasn't to visit the Eight Towers and they will receive a pleasant surprise.
