We didn’t eat, but pubs lovely and warm and the young lady behind the bar was really nice. Really nice pub

We didn't even eat here because there was a huge dog and another one with it, botn barking at us very aggressively over the edge of the low roof and they weren't restrained at all. It wasn't safe to get our dog out of the car. And it wasn't safe to get my disabled husband out of the car because there was no way he could have escaped if the dog had jumped down. When I told the staff at the bar she was very dismissive as if our custom didn't matter and she just said that if we really wanted to come in we should have asked her first so she could put the dogs away. I can understand then having dogs as a deterrent if they have had problems before, but it was not a warm welcome so we went for lunch elsewhere where it was safer. Besides which if they can't beat bothered whether a customer will be welcome or not, will they be bothered whether the food is ok or not?
Nice place, Friendly Staff, also have live entertainment on the weekends , was busy on Saturday
Very friendly people... Kitchen lovely and clean... They were preparing a buffet for a funeral and the food looked fantastic A really nice place to relax... Play pool, throw some darts. Lots of locals in enjoying the sports and drinks.

Great pub, nice atmosphere. Excellent open mic night every Wednesday run by the very talented Jenny Colquitt. Highly recommended!
