Been coming here for years. The staff are amazing, quick service and kind. The drinks have stayed low compared to other places in the area. Don't listen about the food, they don't serve food.
The food was awful, such a shame as it used to be nice pub food but it was nearly inedible. Wouldn't even eat there again for free. Drinks were fine but almost 7 quid a pint it was pretty expensive.
A lovely pub with a friendly atmosphere & welcoming regulars. Great choice of beers at the pumps at fair prices. There was an open Mic on when I went with some great local talent on which made my visit ! I'll certainly be going again soon.

Lovely and clean inside. Only had drink. Quiet time so not overly busy.
I was waiting for my dad who was in whiston hospital over the road and the lady behind the bar was very polite and nice to talk to. The pub is very welcoming, clean and friendly and the pints are perfect. The pub also has parking at the back. I highly recommend this pub
Good pub food. Not expensive, next step up from spoons food. Mixed grill was tasty and fresh and ice cream was good quality.
