What a great micro bar where conversation rules. The beers on tonight are all brewed locally at the Cricketers in St Helens - so good I had to try them all. Highly recommended
Interesting place this. My choice of real ale, Conwy- Rampart, was in gr8 condition. Many of Shakespears' quotes adorn the walls, many still in use today. It was a stormy night on my visit, so not many customers were in, which was a shame!
Great beers which is the main reason for coming here. Friendly helpful staff. Dog friendly. Accessable access but no accessable toilet, hence 4 stars. Great atmosphere, really friendly. Oh, and Sarah is gorgeous!

A really friendly, small pub, selling beautiful Cask ales. Always different choices of beautiful fresh bitter and ipa's. Excellent bar.
Nice selection of IPAs. Wasn't too busy in here with it being a Sunday night. Gets rammed in here when Prescot Cables play
At first they had no cider but managed to find some...too which I wasnt disappointed...lovely micro..great visit
Lovely micro pub. Good range of real ales, Craft beer if your gullible enough and wanting to help brewery profits soar. "Artisan" premium Liverpool gins available, if you want to help out the gin distilleries too. All demographics catered for. Friendly staff.
