   We had a surprise 70th Wedding Anniversary party here on the 31st August for our Mum & Dad, we were welcomed by the very friendly owners who made us feel very welcome, they did a superb buffet with a big choice of food, fruit & cakes and also included 'Scouse' in which everyone commented on how nice it was so a big thank you to whoever made it, it was a lovely afternoon and was made extra special by family attending all the way from New Zealand - thank you to all at 'The Wellington' for making the afternoon perfect for us all

   Great pub! Came today with our little boy after a nice walk round hale. Really nice food and attentive staff. The older staff member (apologies didn't catch his name) was great with my little boy, making a fuss of him and providing colouring to keep him entertained. Steak was cooked to perfection and the wife loved the pie! Will 1000000% be back.

   Went for Christmas Dinner. First meal was cold sent back second meal same . Asked for Manager but he wasn't bothered even the Christmas pudding was cold that got sent back. My husbands meal was warm my sons the same but thay got on with it £160 Wasted AS I will not eat warm food plus its HYGIENE to test all food it should be at a certain temperature . So health and safty was not in place. SO DEFINITELY WOULDNT RECOMEND I WILL BE SRNDING E MAIL TO PUB ASWELL AS HEAD OFFICE . DOUBT WILL GET ANYWHERE

   We turned up a little later than the finish time food but the boss checked with the kitchen and we were shown to a table. The waitress was excellent and the food was very good. We will be going back again as we were treated so well and served with delicious food by cheerful and efficient staff. Thank you to the management and staff.

   Our first visit to this pub. Popped in for lunch (a Sunday). A warm welcome from the staff as we entered the pub. A nice table. Good beer. Great food ( roast dinner for me & scampi for my wife). Staff were really nice too. We both really enjoyed it. We will be back.

   Nice pub, not particularly busy although tea time. I had the Burmese coconut aubergine curry which was very nice, delicately spiced but could have done with more veg/cauli, mainly sauce. Partner had mixed grill, no complaints.
