    Amazing pub. Very clean ,modern but still got that old fashioned feel to it. Live music was great. Pool table and darts, and lovely food at reasonable prices. Went to The sun inn over the road beforehand for a couple first also great little gem of a boozer. Definitely worth visiting both.

    Quick afternoon visit but there was no one there. As I said it was early afternoon. It's a lovely pub now since it's upgrade. One thing I will say though they need to change their cleaning products as the smell was awful.

    Attended my sisters 60th Birthday party tonight, she paid £680 for the buffet, sandwiches were nothing to write home about. Must admit the food was fresh but for the price it was diabolical. The food wasn’t presented well. The card machine in the upstairs bar wasn’t working and guests had to go down a flight of stairs to the pub to get a drink. It’s a shame as the actual venue was really nice and well presented

    What a fantastic pub this is. Went there yesterday with my dad, son, father in law, brother in law and his son. Lovely atmosphere and the bar manager was such a knowledgeable woman and really lovely to us. Even gave us a plate of mince pies to enjoy with our cask ale. Only £3 a pint of cask on a Monday as well. Will definitely return.

    Top pub. Played there on Friday night with our band Off The Rails. Great live music scene on Friday and Saturdays. Fab crowd and the staff are brilliant.

    Staff always friendly. They served up some butties, chips & pizza half time when LIVERPOOL beat Barca 4 - 0 great atmosphere.

    Nice, friendly staff. Nice Guinness. I was lucky I went than the footy was on. Got free pizza, and fantastic fries. Pitty they don't sell food any more, I'm not that keen on fries normally, but these there to die for. Benches a bit hard Though.
