   One of the quieter venues in Prescot, which is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. If its a nice day you can sit out in the beer garden, if its chilly you can sit in front of the fire. Really good place with friendly staff.

   Great little pub. Lovely Old fashioned pub with lig burner very cosy . Great staff and atmosphere. Darts and othergames. Nice little beer garden short walk to other great local pubs. Would definitely recommend and will be returning

   As one of the last bastions of any decent real ale in Prescot, the Sun Inn has hung in there, and is definately worthy of mention. It has at least two real ales on, well kept, usually nationally sourced. The building is beautiful, but very tired, it has all the basics of its original pub/hotel/inn layout, the toilets still have their original glass windows, it could just do with some investment. It has a nice beer garden, with decking and seats, with the much nicer, previous pub signs adorning the garden walls. The front room is lovely. With some renovation and the ability to source more adventurous ale, and having the custom to maintain it, this pub could be an absolute historic gem.
