Was recommended to come here for breakfast. Only one person serving and they were not very helpful. Had a 20% off voucher and I was looked at like id really inconvenienced them. No coffee or hot chocolate available. Food arrived and we'd asked for white toast but got one brown one white and I really couldn't be bothered saying anything. My breakfast was nice, but my friends veggie breakfast was below par. The sausages looked like they had been microwaved and she said they were not exactly very nice. Overall the food was edible but the veggie breakfast was very disappointing and the person serving looked like she didnt want to be there

First time I’ve been here, the staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly chatty and funny young ladies, would recommend just for the service, but the food was good too. I only had a jacket potato but staff were more than happy to alter the menu to suit me, choc cake and cream was gorgeous!! Will definitely come back, staff are a credit to establishment.

Went for Sunday lunch with my family. Roast dinner was excellent and service from the staff was very friendly. I liked ordering at the bar as I was served quickly and efficiently. we had the cheese board platter for dessert which was very nice

Nice food and gorgeous Berry compote cheesecake for dessert. It is pretty expensive here but worth it for what you get! Not just your standard pub food.

Well laid out and furnished pub.. adequate moderately priced food menu. We went on quiz night and this was well setup with tv screens easily seen and ate before the quiz. The food was plentiful and of a good standard. The chips were exceptional. My first visit to this local and will not be the last.

Popped in for lunch with my wife and we both tried something off the specials board. They were OK, just well cooked and well presented stuff I'm sure you can get in the freezer section of the local supermarket. Then came the pie. Probably the best steak pie we have ever had...check out the photos...I had mine with skin-on fries and my wife had the mash. Delicious! Really nice place, lovely staff and reasonable prices and we will definitely go back.

Went for midweek lunch very disappointed as they had changed menu lunch was mai.y baguettes ,baked potatoes or main meal was pies not always what you want We settled on the lamb pie which was delicious. I much preferred the old menu and specials board better choices. Staff are absolutely brilliant and so cheerful

Great local pub which has had a lovely facelift. Had breakfast and Sunday lunches here and food is always good. Love that the Sunday lunch veg comes separately. Staff are always attentive if a little under pressure most of the time.
