   Had food from the Christmas menu, Braised beef Bon bons to start, absolutely beautiful the traditional turkey roast dinner was the bestI have had in a restaurant moist thick slices of turkey, vegetables were lovely and crispy fluffy potatoes and a very generous portion, extra gravy when requested.The dessert consisted of a warm mince pie, warm chocolate brownie, whipped cream and strawberries and a full size piece of biscoff cheesecake each. Excellent service, lovely surroundings and friendly helpful staff well worth every penny ☺️

   Really excellent pub with great service and excellent selection on the bar. Unfortunately, I couldn't recommend the food as the menu choices were very limited and not as good a quality as previous reviews on this page.

   Coso’s food at The Mermaid is fantastic! We went for our meal today and it was absolutely gorgeous! Loved everything that we ordered - amazing ambience, friendly staff and reasonably priced! Would highly recommend the gambas pil pil, bbq ribs, chicken wings and the lamb shank- the sauce was unreal ! Also the jam served with halloumi fries was finger licking good! Overall a great experience and the food definitely made us happy :) will come back

   Spent a lot of money developing the property, and this is reflected in the price of the drinks. £11 for two pints of beer is more expensive than most other establishments in the area.

   Live band on way to loud for a small pub. It's like throwing your ear pods on full blast and trying to have a convo with someone stood next to you. Though the drinks are nice but can't get over how pointlessly loud the music was.
