I am extremely disappointed with this company as everything I have ordered over the last two months has been wrong all damagedand the customer service has not been helpful whatsoever
Went to Timber specialist in huddersfield to get some timber for my garden. The advice was very good and great help from John at the counter who organised the delivery for me. The delivery driver was also very helpful and unloaded it aswell. I will definatly use this company again as their prices are very fair and their lads are very helpful. Hope to deal with them again. Excellent customer service. Timbers cut exactly to the sizes I required. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing timber or joinery products. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Waste of time - web site shows they stock what I needed. Bloke at the counter say "oh no. We don't do that" When I pointed out it was on their website he said "it's going to be updated" Won't bother again and I'll use Garrard's like I usually do for the grand a month I spend on materials..
I'm a complete novice yet the staff were very helpful and courteous.
I was mildly disappointed when visiting this business to find that as a lay-person not knowing exactly what I wanted, I was made to feel a little insignificant. After being sent into the yard to ask ‘the boys’ what they have, I stood around for a while before leaving. Not willing to give up, I went home and used the contact form for my requirements. Again the response wasn’t lay-person friendly but I figured it out and made an order. When my delivery arrived, the driver knocked on the door but said nothing. I asked if he would prop the timber up next to the garage door while I got the key. Instead, he spread the timber along the drive and left. I’m still looking for a local friendly timber merchant!
I've had the pleasure of using Timber Specialists as my main supplier for many years and in all that time they've always been professional, courteous and extremely helpful. Consistently gone out of their way to ensure I receive the materials to complete my workload in a expedient manner by site deliveries or chasing third party suppliers and have even taken the time to show my clients product samples in their showroom.
