    Called for a quick pint with 3 sons, before catching coach to Sunderland for Everton away game. Other blue noses in there, so good atmosphere.Like most pubs, would be great to see this place busier on weekdays.

    We were here for a friend's birthday and everything was perfect. I had the lamb shank, chips, gravy and mushy peas and it was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and the flavour was delicious. This was followed by apple pie and ice-cream, again delicious. Definitely very talented chefs. The staff were really efficient, delivering everything to perfect temperature. Nothing was too much trouble and we were offered more gravy. I can't recommend this place enough. I'll definitely be back with my family. Thanks everyone for a lovely experience. Also it's decorated for Easter and the decorations are beautiful.

    It's such a nice place to have a little snack and a beer. Had wonderful time among the great service they provided. Friendly staff. Prices are a lot cheaper compared to other places around. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

    Visited on the way to watch Liverpool hammer Bournemouth. 27/8/22 ! Just wanted some quick food and a beer before the match. Glad we stopped. Brilliant bar lady very helpful. Food was made quickly and tasted excellent! Pint was spot on. Give her a pay rise !! Brilliant pub !!
