   No food, no problem. Proper traditional little pub but with great choices of cask ales, lagers, porters etc good selection of shorts to (howler head banana whisky is a must try). Bathrooms are also immaculate and have proper paper towels and decent hand soap which is rare.

   I think a lot of people probably walk straight past this place thinking it's a shop, but they are missing out as this is a lovely little pub. I tend to go there in the afternoon as it's not too packed and you get served straight away and there's always a table free. I'd imagine it would get quite packed in the evening though and the tables would be taken. They always have a great selection of real ales and service is excellent. Well worth a visit.

   Pro's Great little place No jukebox No television So a great place to just sit and talk Seven beer pumps on, with a varied selection Three changing ciders also available Friendly staff Easy to find on Queens Drive Very little traffic noise considering the location Board games available - chess, connect four, dominoes, draughts to name a few Beer served in oversized glasses, so a full pint and a head Acoustic night the first and third Tuesday of every month, just turn up with your instrument and have a go Plenty of beer memorabilia from your childhood, that you'll remember with nostalgia Two pint carry outs available at only +10p on beer price Small range of continental bottled beers available Wine available by glass or the bottle Toilets are spotlessly clean Plus a great chip shop next door Con's None at all, apart from it closes at 21:30. Go, have a conversation for a change. Great little quirky venue, you'll love it. Shout out goodbye or goodnight as you leave and be shocked as the whole place responds to you. Lovely unique atmosphere. Been pub of the year, for three consecutive year, so you can be guaranteed that they must be doing something right. Acoustic night a few times a month for people to bring along their own and have a jam.... something different

   Under new management and still as good. Superb beer, friendly welcoming staff and locals. Now open 7 days, 3pm-10pm. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit.
