   Top pub and music venue and one of the best in Liverpool, if not the best, depending on who you're talking to! The beer is fantastic and I've never, ever, had a bad pint thanks to Steve the manager, who also knows his music. The prices are reasonable, the place is clean and the locals and the bar staff are really friendly, a home from home. They have various bands on every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and usually they are excellent and it's all free. Thursday is quiz night. It has a function room at the back for hire and sometimes they have special, pay-on-the-door, band nights which are fantastic: Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Deep Purple, The Faces/Rod Stewart, U2 to name a few. Only one criticism; the place could do with a few more small TVs around the top of the bar for sports, as some of the TVs are hard to see if your sitting opposite the bar. The place is rockin', well worth a visit!
