   Friday 18th April 2025 Today, I came to this cosy and friendly micro pub This pub was full of local clentelle drinking mostly a pint of real ale. There were 4 hand pumps on today. 3 real ales and a real cider The staff were ace The beers i had /a Hawks Head pale/was in fine fettle This pub, when drinking real ale in Ormskirk, is a must to come and have a pint in Saturday 14th November 2025 Today I again visited this superb micro/real ale bar This 1 roomed pub had 4 hand pulled ales on offer from local and small breweries Friendly well run easy going pub with great clientelle easy going background music This pub for real ales is a essential visit when in Ormskirk

   Great bar great bear great everything apart from the regulars who think they own the bar area so bad youstugle to get to the bar to see what's on or order and have no intention of moving even a large dog lying down which spoils it for me you have to barge your way through to the toilets to because they wont move !

   We love coming here when visiting Ormskirk.. The design of the interior with the wooden barrels for tables makes it very unique. As well as the music themed artwork on the walls. There's always a good selection of ales and largers to choose from and the staff have always been friendly. Highly recommend venue for beer lovers !

   My favourite pub in Ormskirk. Excellent beer if you love real ale and IPA. It's fairly small, but that's part of its charm. The decor is great. Never gets too noisy apart from the general chat. It's a popular place, especially on weekends. It's well worth checking out if you love real ale.

   Family day via Tap Room No 12. Lovely staff, great range of bottle, can, keg and cask. 3 pints of Neptune Wooden Ships, very well kept. Dog and child friendly. Awesome, intimate venue

   We’re the mad bunch of cyclists (In the ditch) here Sunday lunchtime on a frequent basis. As serious beer drinkers who have actually been going here before it metamorphosed into tap room 12 it’s great that’s it’s been a constant place for good beer and long may it continue.
