Front of house looks clean and tidy with helpful staff. The toilets, however, let the place down. In the Ladies one has a broken toilet seat, another has a door that doesn't lock. My partner said the hand dryer in the Gents does not work, and there were no hand towels. Zero stars for maintenance. Makes one wonder what the kitchen is like?
It was our first visit today and we will definitely be back. We ordered through the QR code on the table, used a discount code which applied with no issue. Within 20 minutes the food came out, perfectly cooked fish, juicy beef in the cheeseburger and lovely starter. Within 45 minutes we had left. It was a nice, quiet evening. However, the car park was very dark because none of the lights are turned on - it was a very wet day so lots of little puddles we couldn’t see.
I arrived at my reservation earlier than others had booked to dot a change i. Scheduled. When I arrived at the restaurant I explained the situation. Without a doubt they sat me down. The service was quick and effective. Food was perfect. I had a great time in a great atmosphere
Lovely pub , we visited here after going to Chester zoo for the day. I booked a table via the website and arrived early but they accommodated us. Lovely menu choices and food was lovely. Service was ok but one of the guys I found a little rude but other than that all was good.
Stopped here on the way back home to Stockport. Cute little place. Staff are lovely. The food was okish but the price was good. Nice beer garden too!
My friend and I chose the little owl for our catch up as it is half way between where we live We had lunch and a couple of drinks. We had a window table which was lovely as the sun was shining through. Staff where polite. The place is lovely and clean, the furnishings are very comfortable. The menu has a nice choice, we always enjoy our meal here.
Customer service was good. The young man behind the bar was very nice. The food on the other hand was abysmal. Upon arrival we were told there was no Sunday dinners, pie, pasta or veggie burgers. We ordered 3 steaks and were told they only had 2 left. My steak was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle, impossible to cut and chew. The sauce was okay and chips were fine. I asked for my cake warm and my partner asked for theirs cold. Both cakes came luke warm and had clearly been microwaved. Would not return
The food was tasty! And our waitress was good. The only thing that dimmed my time was one of the workers, he seemed quite irritant with me but maybe he was rushed off his feet with all the busyness so i understand. Did upset my mood a little as I was already feeling down and I hoped going out would make me feel better but it’s ok. Would maybe visit here again in the future.
The customer service is fantastic. The staff were very friendly. The food was amazing. When ordering food, the guy behind the bar was so nice and helpful. I must have walked away about 4 times to ask the kids and hubby about adding any extra bits etc. He even offered a smaller dinner for the hubby because he didn't want a large fish. I would certainly recommend the place to other people. The drinks are reasonably priced too.
The staff were very friendly and super attentive. Great portions on the food especially for the price you pay! Love atmosphere, inside and out, great for families. Not much options for vegans on the kids menu, but my daughter ordered from the main menu instead and was happy with that.
