I owe the owners a great deal of thanks for their hospitality. I’m Irish but live in Australia and brought my elderly father over for a game as a Christmas present. Firstly I had accomodation booked for a Liverpool game on 30th December but the fixture was rearranged to Jan 1st—the owner gave me a full refund and let me change the date which they really didn’t have to do.Secondly they let me and my father check in about 4 hours early without any charge also which again they really didn’t have to do but was greatly appreciated. Great location and a great pint of Guinness in the pub downstairs. The rooms were spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. This trip just confirmed what I already knew…scousers are sound people. Thanks again!

One of the best pint of Guinness in Liverpool and £3.50 as well. Owner takes good pride in it and can taste the difference. Good pub for Reds and close enough to Anfield to wander up. Would recommend.

The owner was exceptionally generous and accommodating! We couldn’t arrive during the check in time because of rail strike and the only transport was a midnight bus from London to Liverpool. Owner let us check in earlier without any fuss. The property was clean, location was great if you are catching a match at Anfield and the staff was super helpful.
