Well located boozer with a well rounded food menu and friendly team members. The interior is wonderful with beautiful beams all over. The food was tasty with a few good vegan options. If you are a tourist in town, I highly recommend this boozer. The pub is also child friendly.

My friend and I visited Chester for the day and had lunch in this lovely pub. The fish and chips were the best I've had in a long time. Staff are so friendly, when I visit Chester again, I will definitely revisit. Highly recommend this delightful pub.

Pub had a nice cozy atmosphere. The staff were lovely. Food took a little while to arrive but it was busy and the woman who served us was really polite and friendly, fair play to her she was working very hard! The food was lovely, portion sizes were big. The toilets were very clean. Didn’t see any ghosts on this occasion, hopefully next time!

Classic Chester city centre pub with low beams and darker interior although the music livened the place up nicely. Enjoyed my visit and a decent selection of real ales and candles lit on all the tables adding to a nice relaxing vibe. Looks historical on the outside and even more so after you enter.

I did not stay here so cannot comment on the rooms. The service seemed normal for a pub with regulars greeted by name but the Sunday roast was horrible which has brought an average score down to 2 stars. It all felt frozen not fresh, my pint was also left unfinished.

The King's Head Chester is a traditional pub nestled in the heart of Chester, boasting a cozy atmosphere and a generous selection of beverages. As a drinking establishment, it has plenty to offer for those looking to unwind with friends and enjoy a pint or two. While the ambiance and drink options at The King's Head create a welcoming environment, the food offerings are somewhat basic. The menu comprises typical pub fare, which, although satisfying, does not stand out as particularly memorable or creative. If you're looking for a more elaborate dining experience, this might not be the place for you. Additionally, during my visit, the service was notably slow, which might be a concern for those expecting a more prompt dining experience. However, for patrons who are primarily there to socialize and savor their drinks, this might not be a significant drawback.

I’ve been in Chester for 6 months and this place by far makes the best cocktails, the young lad who works here makes this an amazing experience and really brings the history to life. Not very often you see someone with this much passion. The lady working here was also made this such a present place to be. Cheers guys, be back soon
