   Its a proper working mans pub. Beer was good and good prices like at home (in the Black country). The lady serving that night looked after us a treat for the three hours we were in there for while watching the Solheim Cup. 6/08/2021

   Good cheap drinks. No children. No food. Lots of TV screens. Live sport. Liverpool and Everton games.. Horse racing. Two betting shops next door. Regular crowd. Looks after it's own.

   The Village Inn is situated in the centre of Formby town centre, opposite the Waitrose car park. A large internal space, large enough for a decent sized party, it is a friendly place with interesting characters. Outdoor seating/smoking area is available. Prices are good and the staff are friendly. Range of drinks are limited in comparison to places such as Wetherspoons, Robinson's etc but then this is a place to catch up with friends, have a few drinks and have an hour of 'me' time.
