    The Magazine Hotel known as The Mags by locals is a rare find. A traditional pub with excellent service, beer, drinks and food. A raised beer garden has views of the River Mersey, with plenty of seating. The staff are efficient, friendly and pros. A wide selection of food is on offer, including small plates, pastas and pub favourites fish n chips. We chose scampi & chips and the fish n chips. Freshly prepared and delicious. The pub was busy with regulars having a drink and people eating. A range of beers are available, with guest beers on the pump. It is worth a visit, as sitting with a beer in this lovely pub, will make you feel,” life’s not too bad.”

    Been walking here for a few months now and it's a little gem of a pub. If you fancy a treat, get here. Great selection of beers, food is great and the beer garden is amazing. Staff are really friendly and I love coming here when I visit New Brighton.

    Second time coming in the last fortnight and both times have been brilliant. The food is outstanding, fresh, flavourful & affordable. The mixed grill was amazing the quality of the meat was noticeable throughout, I had a mix 3 & all were amazing special mention for the goats cheese bonbons & salt and pepper homemade chips. Friendly accommodating staff, thank you again.

    Stayed locally and popped over for a drink on a couple of nights. Friday we ordered fish and chips which was huge. Draft beer and cider selection is good and service with a smile
